Delta Goodrem
Delta Goodrem is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress born in Sydney, Australia on November 9, 1984. She started her career as a child actress and had roles in several television shows like Hey Dad…!, A Country Practice, and Police Rescue. She became well known in 2002 after landing a main role on the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She has continued landing in the shows and films Hating Alison Ashley, North Shore, House Husbands and Olivia: Hopelessly Devoted to You. She also made appearances on the shows Australian Idol, The Voice, Neighbours 30: The Stars Reunite, Who Do You Think You Are?, and Play School. At 15 she signed with the label Sony Music and released her debut studio album Innocent Eyes which topped the ARIA Albums Chart for 29 straight weeks. The album sold over four million copies worldwide and all five singles on the album charted at number one on the ARIA Singles chart. She has since released the albums Mistaken Identity, Delta, Child of the Universe, and Wings of the Wild. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won nine ARIA Music Awards, a Logie Award, an MTV Video Music Award, three MTV Australia Video Music Awards, three World Music Awards and more.
