DJ Pooh
DJ Pooh, born Mark Jordan, is a rapper, producer, and actor from Los Angeles, California. His first production credit on LL Cool J’s Bigger and Deffer earned him a series of high-profile production credits throughout the 90s. In 1991, he and Rashad Coes produced the entirety of Del the Funkee Homosapien’s debut I Wish My Brother George Was Here. The next year he produced a number of tracks on Ice Cube’s third album, The Predator, including the single “It Was A Good Day,” which would go on to be regarded as one of the greatest hip hop songs of the decade. In 1996 he produced large sections of Snoop Dogg’s multi-Platinum album The Doggfather. The next year he released his debut album as a solo artist, Bad Newz Travels Fast. He co-produced and is a credited writer on successful video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
