DJ Snake

Internationally renowned producer DJ Snake was born William Grigahcine in France on June 13, 1986. He received critical acclaim in 2011 for his work in producing the album Born This Way by Lady Gaga, from which he nabbed a Grammy nomination in 2012 for Album of the Year. After remixing the track “Bubble Butt” by Major Lazer, DJ Snake once again worked to produce for Lady Gaga, this time for her 2013 album ARTPOP. In late 2013, DJ Snake collaborated with rapper Lil Jon to release the immensely popular single “Turn Down for What” through Columbia Records. The song received tremendous airtime in 2014, and was eventually certified Platinum in March of 2014. “Turn Down for What” would later be nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards in a variety of different categories, including for Best Direction and Best Visual Effects.
