Dwayne Johnson (The Rock)
Dwayne Douglas Johnson was born on May 2, 1972 in Hayward, California. Also known as The Rock, he rose to fame as a pro wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation, now known as WWE. As The Rock, he is considered one of the all-time great professional wrestlers.
His transition into the acting world began with a starring role in fantasy movies The Mummy Returns (2001) and The Scorpion King (2002). He went on to appear in movies such as Doom (2006), The Game Plan (2007) and Get Smart (2008).
Johnson was already a fan of The Fast and the Furious film franchise when he was offered the role of DSS agent Luke Hobbs. He first appeared in Fast Five (2011) and reprised the role more than once.
Dwayne has also lent his voice to Disney movie roles. He voiced the title character in Hercules (2014) and demigod Maui in smash hit Moana (2016). On the small screen, Johnson stars in HBO comedy drama Ballers.
