Eelke Kleijn
Born on June 11, 1983, Eelke Kleijn is a Dutch DJ and producer who is known not only for his EDM productions, but also for the original music he has produced for commercials, movie trailers, and the like. He became active in 2003, and he quickly began producing albums under the name M.I.D.O.R. & Six4Eight. That year, however, he switched to using his real name and released a single entitled “4.5 Billion Years”. In 2006, a fellow artist Nick Warren used his song “8 Bit Era” on his compilation album titled Global Underground: Paris. This is seen as Eelke Kleijn’s breakthrough moment, and from then on, he was invited to remix songs and broaden his career. He also made appearances at festivals and venues such as Dance Valley, Privilege Ibiza, and Mystery Land. In terms of media, his songs have been featured in such productions as the Wrath of the Titans trailer in 2012 and in the trailer for the 2013 film Rush.
