Eric Decker
Eric Decker is a former American professional football wide receiver born in Cold Spring, Minnesota on March 15, 1987. He played football in high school at Rocori High School in Cold Springs, Minnesota. He was named the team’s MVP two years in a row. He went on to play college football at the University of Minnesota from 2006 to 2009. In 2010 he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round, 87th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year contract with the Broncos for $2.5 million. In 2014 he signed a five-year contract with the New York Jets for $36.25 million. He was released by the Jets in 2017 and signed a one year contract with the Tennessee Titans for $3.85 million.
On August 2, 2018, he signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots, but later that month announced his retirement from the NFL. Throughout his career, he has recorded 439 receptions, 5,816 receiving yards, 796 return yards, and 54 total touchdowns.
