Ethan Coen
Ethan Coen was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 21, 1957. His full name is Ethan Jesse Coen. He shares an Oscar win for No Country for Old Men (2007) for Best Motion Picture of the Year with his brother Joel Coen. The siblings also share the 1997 Oscar Award for the Best Writing for the Screenplay Fargo (1996).
He serves as the producer for Blood Simple (1984), Raising Arizona (1987), Miller’s Crossing (1990), and Fargo (1996). He is the executive producer of Bad Santa (2003), Romance & Cigarettes (2005), and the TV series Fargo.
He produced The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018), Hail, Caesar! (2016), and Inside Llewyn Davis (2013). He serves as a writer for Bridge of Spies (2015), Suburbicon (2017), and Going Places which will be released in 2019.
