Flo Morrissey

Flo Morrissey, born Florence Morrissey on December 25th, 1994 in London, England is a British singer and songwriter that began playing folk music at a young age.  Flo began to write her own music at the age of 14.  Three years later she auditioned and gained a spot at the British School for Performing Arts and Technology and studied music for the next two years all while uploading original songs to the website MySpace.

Flo signed to the label Glassnote Records after the label president, Daniel Glass, saw her video of her rendition of “If You Can’t Love This All Goes Away” on YouTube.  Together, along with producers Noah Georgeson and Philippe Zdar, they recorded Flo’s debut album, Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful, and released it in 2015. That same year she played at Glastonbury festival among many others and toured Japan and North America.  Flo released the single “Show Me” in December of 2015.  In 2017 Flo released a cover album with Matthew E. White called Gentlewoman, Ruby Man. The album received positive reviews from The Guardian.
