Gary Busey

Gary Busey is an American actor born in Goose Creek, Texas on June 29, 1944. He is best known for his roles in the films Lethal Weapon, Point Break, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Predator 2, The Buddy Holly Show, Under Siege, The Firm, Black Sheep, Carried Away, The Gingerbread Man, and Quigley. He is also known for his guest appearances on the shows Entourage, Law & Order, Scrubs, Walker, Texas Ranger, and Gunsmoke. After college, Busey joined the band The Rubber Band as their drummer. He started playing with the band Carp and in 1969 they released an album on Epic Records. In 1967 he made his debut in film in the movie The Love-Ins and continued landing roles in the films Dirty Little Billy, Hot Boyz, No Tomorrow, Glory Glory, Hex, A Star Is Born, The Gumball Rally. You and Me, Straight Time, Silver Bullet, Eye of the Tiger, Lethal Weapons, Bulletproof, Hider in the House, A Dangerous Life and many more. Busey has had roles in over 150 films over the course of his career. In 1970 he made his debut on television in the show The High Chaparral and has since had roles in the shows Dan August, Gunsmoke, Scrubs, Fallen Angels, The Outer Limits, Russians in the City of Angels, Two and a Half Men, Entourage, Kung Fu and others. Throughout his career he has been nominated for several awards and has won a CableACE Award, a National Society of Film Critics Award, a Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Award, and a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award.
