Gibbz

GiBBZ, born Mike Gibney in Brooklyn, New York is a electronic music producer and recording artist. GiBBZ began his musical career as a sound engineer for other artists. He would go on tour and make sure the songs and sounds played right. In 2014 he decided to strike out on his own and produced his first EP entitled Who GiBBZ a F#@S. The album was released under Gramatik’s label Lowtemp. In 2015 he released his next EP called Chardonnay. He then went on tour throughout Europe with Gramatik, Cherub, Ghost Beach, and the Floozies. GiBBZ then started a Kickstarter campaign to create his first feature length studio album in 2015. The Kickstarter earned $6197 USD exceeding its goal of $5000. His first studio album, Above Water, was released in 2016. At the end of 2016 GiBBZ dropped another EP called Oh My God. In 2017 he received his first headlining position for a tour that began with a residency at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York.
