Giovani Bernard
Giovani Bernard was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on November 22, 1991. He went to the University of North Carolina when he was in college. He was the 37th pick of the Cincinnati Bengals during the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He signed a contract extension with the Bengals in 2016.
In 2017, he received the Ed Block Courage Award from the Bengals. During the year, he played in 16 games. In 2016, he played games 1 to 10, but he had to take a break because of a knee injury in November of that year.
Bernard went to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Florida. The Orlando Sun-Sentinel named him as No. 2 RB in Florida. He won the Brian Piccolo Award at the Atlantic Coast Conference.
