Greta Gerwig
Greta Gerwig, born Greta Celeste Gerwig on August the 4th 1983 in California and is an American writer, actress and director. Her career began in 2006 with her appearance in the mumblecore film LOL, and she then moved on to work in further mumblecore films such as, Hannah Takes the Stairs, which she also wrote.
Moving into more mainstream films with her part in No Strings Attached as Patrice, she worked alongside Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman, going on to work in the comedy Arthur, and came to prominence with the acclaimed films, Lola Versus and Frances Ha, More recently the artist is best known for having made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed and Oscar nominated film, Lady Bird, which she also wrote.
