Harriet Brown
Filipino-American rapper, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Harriet Brown was born Aaron Valenzuela in California’s Bay Area in 1991. He grew up in Fairfield, CA, learning piano, singing in church, and playing guitar in his high school’s jazz band. Brown studied architecture at UC Berkeley, eventually moving to LA, where he pursued his music career.
Often referred to as a “one-man-band,” Brown released his debut EP, New Era, in 2014, which included single “New Machines.” Single “Obsession” preceded his debut full-length effort, Contact (named after the Carl Sagan novel), released in April 2017.
Brown has also been featured on the tracks “Eyes On Me,” by Classixx, “As You Wish,” by AR Ferdinand, and “Heaven Holds a Place,” by Bilinda Butchers.
