Henrik Lundqvist

Henrik Lundqvist was born in Åre, Sweden on March 2, 1982. The New York Rangers picked him in the round 7 of the 2000 draft. Prior to going pro, he played in the International Junior League with Sweden U17 and in the World Junior Championship-18 with Sweden U18.

During the 2003-04 season he received the Honken Trophy for being the SHL Goalie of the Year. He also earned a place in the World Championship All-Star Team, a silver medal, and being a Top 3 Player on Team.

He was in the NHL All-Star Game from 2008-12 and in 2017-18. He made the NHL Most Wins in 2012-13. He also became part of the Olympic-Star team during the 2013-14 season. He also received an Olympic silver medal.
