Holly Deveaux
Holly Deveaux (born in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress with documentary film-maker parents. She was determined to be an actor since a very young age, and at thirteen finally began auditioning and securing roles. Throughout high school, Deveaux worked on a series of projects. ‘Victoria Day’ was her first leading film role, premiering at Sundance Film Festival. Following that, she secured the lead role of the Family Channel TV Show ‘Baxter’.
Deveaux then went on to have leading roles in series such as Netflix’s ‘Hemlock Grove’, CTV’s ‘Spun Out’, HBO’s ‘Less than Kind’, and many more. Her next independent film, ‘Big Muddy’, premiered to positive reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her performance in the Emmy-nominated television film ‘The Phantoms’ garnered praise from The Globe and Mail’s John Doyle, who remarked: “Outstanding is Deveaux as Tess, the most complex and troubled of the teenagers. Deveaux (last seen in Less Than Kind) is luminous, her pale face subtly registering every hurt, every worry and every insult that comes her way…”
Since then, Deveaux has secured a series of roles and continues to work in Canada and the US, most recently on CBS’s ‘Macgyver’ and Hulu’s ‘Future Man’, where she played the role of Marilyn Monroe.
Her hobbies include acting, horseback riding, and reading. She also coaches kids and teenagers through LB Acting Studio in Toronto, Ontario, and is determined to help young actors and their parents feel secure and in-control while they navigate entertainment industry.
