Singer-songwriter Jamie Scott was born on February 12, 1984 in the United Kingdom. He began playing piano and guitar at age seven and formed a duo in college that performed throughout London.

Scott signed with Sony Music in 2002 and began work on his debut album. During this time, he played shows with Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Mario Winans, and Ginuwine. His album was scheduled for released in 2005, but was delayed because of the dispute between Sony and BMG Music, and eventually went unreleased. However, his song “Made” was featured on the “Step Up” soundtrack, and he also played a small part in the movie. In 2007, he and his band, Jamie Scott and the Town released their album, “Park Bench Theories.” In 2011, he formed a duo with Tommy D and called themselves Graffiti6. They signed with Capitol Records and released their debut album, “Colours,” in 2012. They followed up with another album, “The Bridge,” in 2014. Scott has writing and producing credits on many artists’ songs including Enrique Iglesias, One Direction, NKOTB, 5 Seconds of Summer, Christina Perri, and Colbie Caillat. In 2015, he released his solo debut, “My Hurricane.” It reached number three on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and number eighteen on the Billboard Top Alternative Albums chart.
