Jason Biggs
Jason Matthew Biggs was born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey on May 12, 1978. Although he began acting at just five years old, he did not gain recognition until he joined long running CBS soap opera As The World Turns. In 1995, for his performance as Pete Wendell, he was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
His true rise to fame came in 1999 when he starred in the risky comedy, American Pie. In this movie and a further 3 sequels, he played awkward Jim Levenstein – a role for which he was nominated for 4 Teen Choice Awards. He went on to star in movies such as Loser and Saving Silverman. He also starred in Amateur Night, in which his wife, Jenny Mollen, played his on-screen wife.
Away from the big screen Jason has appeared in TV shows such as The Good Wife, Mad Love and I Like You Just The Way I Am. Most notably, he played the role of Larry Bloom in Netflix Original Series, Orange is the New Black, for two series. In 2015, he shared with his OITNB cast members the Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
