Jessica Pratt

Jessica Pratt is an American folk singer, songwriter, and musician born in San Francisco, California in 1987. Pratt is currently based in Los Angeles, California. She learned to play the guitar at 15 years old and began recording at 16 years old. In 2012 she released her debut self-titled album through the label Birth Records. The songs were initially recorded in 2007 over analogue tape. She has since released the albums On Your Own Love Again in 2015 and Quiet Signs in 2019. Her last album Quiet Signs was the first album recorded in a proper studio, giving it a clearer sound. Pratt has released her music and albums through the labels Birth Records, Drag City, and Mexican Summer/City Slang.
