Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey was born on January 17, 1962 in Newmarket, Ontario. He got his start on the sketch comedy show In Living Color before breaking into physical comedy with movies like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, The Mask and their sequels. He starred in more serious dramas such as Liar Liar, The Truman Show and Man on the Moon, each of which earned him a Golden Globe Award. He also had a role starring opposite Renee Zellweger in 2000’s Me, Myself & Irene.
He played the Grinch in the 2000 live action movie and starred in Bruce Almighty and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which earned him a BAFTA nomination. He starred in Fun with Dick and Jane, Yes Man and A Christmas Carol. He has won many awards, including MTV Movie Awards and Teen Choice Awards.
