Joan As Police Woman

Joan As Police Woman is a band created by Joan Wasser, born on July the 26th 1940 in Connecticut is an American singer, songwriter and musician. With a career that began as a violinist for the Dambuilders, Black Beetle, Antony, Those Bastard Souls and Johnsons.  Realising her own talent, she began a solo career in 2005, signing with Reveal Records.

With her debut album, Real Life and won the title of Best Pop/Rock Album within the 7th Annual Independent Music Awards and three hits came from the album, including The Ride and Christobel. The group’s most recent album Damned Devotion was released in February of 2018 and was described as a return to the band, and as an extension Wasser’s roots.
