John 5
John 5 is the stage name of John William Lowery who was born on July 31, 1971, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He received the nickname John 5 when he joined Marilyn Manson as the guitarist after Zim Zum left. After leaving Marilyn Manson, he became part of the band Loser and went on to join Rob Zombie.
Aside from being part of a band, John 5 has also been involved in pursuing his career as a solo artist. In 2004, he released the guitar album Vertigo followed by Songs for Sanity the year after. In 2007, he released another album The Devil Knows My Name, and 2008 saw the release of Requiem. His other albums include God Told Me To, The Art of Malice, and Careful with That Axe.
