John Wall
Johnathan Hildred Wall Jr. was born on September 6, 1990 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He joined the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a point guard. Wall played for Garner Magnet School in Garner, North Carolina and Word of God in Raleigh, North Carolina during High School. He played also for Kentucky from 2009–2010 in college. He was the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.
He won many awards and honors. He is a four-time winner of the NBA All-Star game (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). He also won other awards – All-NBA Third Team (2017), NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2015), NBA All-Rookie First Team (2011), NBA Rookie Challenge MVP (2011), NBA Slam Dunk Contest Dunker of the Night (2014), Adolph Rupp Trophy (2010), Consensus first-team All-American (2010),and SEC Player of the Year (2010).
