Jordyn Wieber
Jordyn Wieber is an American former artistic gymnast and current gymnastic coach born in DeWitt, Michigan on July 12, 1995. She is currently the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks gymnastics team. Wieber was a member of the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she won a gold medal in the team competition. She also won a gold medal with the American team at the 2011 World Championships and won the individual all around. Wieber started seriously training gymnastics and by ten years old qualified to Level 10 in the Junior Olympic program. She competed in a number of competitions throughout her junior and elite career winning many gold, bronze, and silver medals. On March 6, 2015, she announced her retirement from elite gymnastics. From 2017 to 2019 she served as a volunteer assistant coach at UCLA while studying psychology there. In 2019 she became the head coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks gymnastics program.
