Joy Bryant
Joy Bryant is an American actress and former fashion model born in The Bronx, New York on October 18, 1974. She is best known for her role as Jasmine Trussell in the show Parenthood. After graduating from college at Yale University Bryant started her modeling career in the mid 1990s. She has appeared in advertisements for Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Victoria’s Secret, and Ralph Lauren. In 2001 she made her debut in film in the movie Carmen: A Hip Hopera and continued landing roles in the films Kite, Showtime, Antwone Fisher, Three Way, Honey, Haven, London, Spider-Man 2, Bobby, Hit and Run, About Last Night, The Hunting Party, The Skeleton Key and more. She made her debut on television in 2003 in the show ER and has since had roles in the shows Entourage, Parenthood, Love Bites, Rosewood, Good Girls Revolt, What Would Diplo Do?, Girls, Ballers, and Trinkets. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won a Young Hollywood Award and a Hollywood Film Award.
