Justin Thomas
Justin Thomas is an American professional golfer born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 29, 1993. He plays on the PGA Tour and is a former World Number One. He had his best year in 2017 after winning five PGA Tour events and winning the FedEx Cup championship. In 2018 he became the 21st player to reach the number one spot on the Official World Golf Ranking. Thomas played golf in high school and went on to play in college at the University of Alabama. In 2012 he won the Haskins Award as the most outstanding collegiate golfer. Thomas turned professional in 2013 and won his first professional event in the 2014 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. In 2015 he won his first PGA Tour at the CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In total he has had 9 PGA Tour wins. Thomas has played for the U.S. national team as an amateur and a professional in the competitions, Junior Ryder Cup 2010, Eisenhower Trophy 2012, Palmer Cup 2012, 2013, Walker Cup 2013, Presidents Cup 2017, and the Ryder Cup 2018. In 2017 Thomas won PGA Player of the Year and PGA Tour Player of the Year.
