Justin Verlander
Justin Verlander was born Justin Brooks Verlander in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia on February 20, 1983. He was the first round pick of the Detroit Tigers in the 2004 MLB Amateur Draft. He currently plays for Houston Astros and serves as the pitcher. He has been in the All-Star Games seven times, in 2007, 2009 to 2012, and 2018. He was the American League Rookie of the year in 2006. He bagged the AL Triple crown, AL MVP, and AL Cy Young awards in 2011. In the same year, he was the Major League Player of the Year, and he possessed the AL pitching title. Verlander was the TSN Pitcher of the Year in 2011 and 2012. In 2017, he was the ALCS MVP, and he won the Babe Ruth Award.
