Kawann Short

Kawann Arcell Short was born on February 2, 1989 in East Chicago, Indiana. He signed as a defensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). Short was selected during the second round of NFL 2013 draft by the Panthers. He played high school football at East Chicago, IN and college football at Purdue University. He won the Pro Bowl (2015), Second-team All-Pro (2015), PFWA All-Rookie Team (2013), Second-team All-American (2012), First-team All-Big Ten twice (2011, 2012), and Second-team All-Big Ten (2010).
