Keith David
Keith David is an American actor, voice actor, singer and comedian born in New York City, New York on June 4, 1956. He is best known for his roles in the films The Thing, Platoon, Crash, Armageddon, Requiem for a Dream, Men at Work, Barbershop, and There’s Something About Mary. He has had an incredibly successful career in acting having roles in over 200 films and television shows. He made his debut in film and television in 1982 in the film The Thing and the television series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. He has since been in numerous roles in shows and films like Hot Pursuit, Off Limits, Men at Work, Law & Order, ER, Psych, Greenleaf, Cloud Atlas, Boiling Point, Love Jacked, 7th Heaven, Future Man, and many more. David has been in several theater productions on and off Broadway, in plays and musicals like Jelly’s Last Jam, The Wiz, Hot Feet, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, Paul Robeson, and others. He has also done voice acting in many different animated series, video games, and documentaries. Throughout his career in acting he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won three Primetime Emmy Awards, a Behind the Voice Actors Award, a Miami Web Fest Award, and more.
