Kiefer Sutherland
Kiefer Sutherland was born on December 21, 1966 in Paddington, England. He debuted in the film Max Dugan Returns in the 1980s. He later starred in Stand by Me, which was his first role in a coming of age story. He also played a vampire in The Lost Boys, which earned him critical acclaim. He starred in the western film Young Guns in 1988 and its later sequel.
He had regular roles in movies through the 1990s before starring in Freeway with Reese Witherspoon in 1996 and A Time to Kill with Sandra Bullock the same year. In 2001, he landed his most famous role as Jack Bauer on the television series 24. He received four Emmy nominations and one win for his role. Thanks to the success of this series, Sutherland spent less time in movies, working only every other year on a film. He also starred in some commercials for Apple, Ford and Japanese product CalorieMate.
