La Mafia
La Mafia originates from Houston, Texas and Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Its genre of music is identified as Genres Tejano and Latin pop. La Mafia members include Oscar De La Rosa, Armando (Mando) Lichtenberger Jr. (accordion, keyboards), Tim Ruiz (bass), Eduardo Torres, David Delagarza III, Viktor Pacheko (guitar), and Robbie Longoria.
La Mafia won the Grammy Awards for their albums Un Millón de Rosas, En Tus Manos, Para El Pueblo and Nuevamente. La Mafia has been awarded over eight Premio Lo Nuestro Awards as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Tejano Music Awards. La Mafia has several Billboard Charts awards and their songs hit the top 10 Billboard Latin Artists throughout the 1990s. La Mafia has been deemed the most successful Latin artist ever from Houston.
