Lonzo Ball
Born in Anaheim, California on October 27, 1997, Lonzo Ball was the first round, second overall pick of the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 NBA draft. He was part of the NBA second team All-Rookie in 2008. Prior to joining the NBA, he went to UCLA. During his college basketball career, he received multiple awards. In 2016, he was named as McDonald’s All-American, Mr. Basketball USA, Mr. Basketball California, and the Player of the Year for Naismith Prep. Prior to entering the NBA, he was the NCAA season assists leader, first team All-Pac-12, and first team consensus All-American. He was also the recipient of the Wayman Tisdale award and he was named as the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. Ball went to Chino Hills High School.
