Lucia Micarelli
Lucia Micarelli is an American violinist and actress born in Queens, New York on July 9, 1983. She started playing the violin at three years old and at six years old played in her first concert. She studied violin at Juilliard and the Manhattan School of Music. In 2003 she was the concertmaster with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on their Christmas Season Tour. After the TSO tour, she went on tour with the singer Josh Groban as a guest soloist and concertmaster for his Closer Tour. In 2004 she released her debut studio album titled Music From A Farther Room that was produced by Josh Groban. In 2006 she released the album Interlude. She toured around the United States in 2005 and 2006 with Jethro Tull. In 2007 she went on tour with Josh Groban again for his Awake Tour. She went on tour in 2008, 2015, and 2016 with the trumpeter Chris Botti. Micarelli has also had acting roles in the television shows Treme and Manhattan.
