Lucie Silvas

Lucie Silvas was born in the UK and spent part of her life in New Zealand. Her mom is Scottish and her dad is from New Zealand. She started writing and playing the piano at 10 but was not introduced into the music industry until she was 17. She went on tour with Judie Tzuke as a backup singer. After that tour she released her first debut album Breathe In, recorded by Mercury records. Her second album, The Same Side was released in 2006.After her second album she moved to Nashville, TN and went on tour with the likes of Tom Jones, Daughtry and James Bay. She has played with Skrillex and Lauryn Hill also. Her third album and first US release, which was self financed, is Letters to Ghosts written in 2010. She performed on BBC Sessions 60th anniversary of Elvis Presley Sun sessions, which was well received.
