Marc Anthony
Marco Antonio Muñiz was born on September 16, 1968 in New York City, New York. He is best known as Marc Anthony and he is an American singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and television producer. Marc Anthony sings Latin, salsa and freestyle music. His musical career started in 1988. He has recorded with many record labels including Blue Dog (1988), Atlantic (1991), and RMM (1992 – 1998). He began working with Columbia Records and Sony in 1999.
Marc Anthony has also appeared in many movies, including Hackers (1995), Big Night and The Substitute (1996), Bringing Out the Dead (1999), In the Time of the Butterflies (2001), and many others. Marc Anthony was recognized as one of the Ten most influential people by New York Times Magazine. He has won 29 Premio Lo Nuestro Latin Music awards, 12 Billboard Latin Music Awards, 3 Billboard Awards, 2 Grammy Awards, and 5 Latin Grammy Awards.
