Marc Forster
Marc Forster is a Swiss filmmaker born in Illertissen, Neu-Ulm, Bavaria, West Germany. He is best known for directing the films Finding Neverland, The Kite Runner, Quantum of Solace, World War Z, Stranger than Fiction, and Christopher Robin. He moved to New York at 20 years old in 1990 and attended New York University’s film school. In 1995 he moved to Hollywood and filmed his first movie titled Loungers. He shot his first feature-length film in 2000 titled Everything Put Together. He has since made the films Monster’s Ball, Finding Neverland, Stay, Stranger than Fiction, The Kite Runner, Quantum Solace, Machine Gun Preacher, World War Z, Hand of God, All I See Is You, and Christopher Robin. Foster has been nominated for a number of awards and had won a Camerimage Award, a Christopher Award, Film Independent Spirit Award, a Hollywood Film Award, a Slamdance Film Festival Award, and a Venice Film Award.
