Marc Webb
Marc Webb was born on August 31, 1974 in Bloomington, Indiana, but he grew up and finished his schooling at University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a degree in English. He also attended Colorado College. He is known as a producer, writer and director. He started out working on music videos and is known for having an offbeat sense of humor. His music video directing can be seen with well-known bands such as Green Day, Maroon 5, 3 Doors Down and Miley Cyrus. His first major film feature was 500 Days of Summer (2009), which received good reception and he was then hired to direct The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and the following sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). He also has writer, director, and/or executive producer credits for such shows as Battleground (2012), Limitless (2015-2016) and the popular Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015-2017) He has several short film credits, as well. He has won several smaller, less well known awards for his works.
