Mark Cuban
Mark Cuban was born on July 31, 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a business philanthropist, author, television personality and a proud owner of NBA’s Dallas Mavericks as well a star in the TV show Shark Tank. He wrote an e book called How to Win In the Business of Sports.
He started his business ideas at the age of 12 years by selling garbage bags door to door. He graduated from Indiana University where he was also a bar owner before he moved to Dallas. In Dallas he landed a job of selling software and eventually began his own consulting business, the Micro Solutions Firm. He then became a pro in the field of computers and networking in 1990 and in 1995 Cuban joined a friend to start a company called Audio Net, which allowed listeners to hear basketball games online. This led to massive success even changing the name to broadcast.com in 1998. In the year 2011, the Mavericks defeated the Heat and won the NBA title.
In 1998 he won a Kelley School of Business award and in 2006 he won a Webby Award.
