Melvin Gordon
Melvin Gordon was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on April 13, 1993. He was the first round, 15th overall pick of the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Los Angeles Chargers signed him to a four-year contract. He serves as the running back of the team and wears shirt No. 28. Prior to going pro, he played college football at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Chargers decided to exercises their fifth-year option in 2018 to keep Gordon in the 2019 season.
Gordon has been selected for the Pro Bowl in 2016. He has also been the AFC Offensive Player of the week in 2017 and 2016. During his college football years, he has received the Doak Walker Award and the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year.
