MHD

Born in 1994, Mohamed Sylla is a French rapper who hails from the 19th arrondissment of Paris. MHD, as he is better known is known for his style of Afro Trap, a mix of trap music and African music. Part of the 19 Reseaux collective he is famous through his use of social media to market his work to young people.

His debut album MHD was dropped in 2016 by Capitol Records, containing featured collaborations with Angelique Kidjo and Fally Ipupa the 15 track album peaked at number 2 in the French charts and went double platinum in Europe. With featured roles in Zaho and Black M’s music and a unique and encapsulating sound he is on his way to greatness.
