Michael Feinstein
Michael Feinstein was born Michael Jay Feinstein in Columbus, Ohio, United States on September 7, 1956. During his musical career, he received five nominations to the Grammy Awards. His PBS-TV special Michael Feinstein – The Sinatra Legacy has also been nominated to the Emmys, and he has performed in notable venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, The White House, and The Buckingham Palace. Feinstein was the founder of the Great American Songbook Foundation. In 2012, the Pasadena Symphony named him as the Principal Pops Conductor. He has also penned the book The Gershwins and Me which went on to be a best-seller. His albums with other artists include Change Of Heart: The Songs of Andre Previn and Only One Life – The Songs of Jimmy Webb.
