Misha Collins

Dimitri Collins, better known as Misha Collins is an American actor.  Hailing from Boston Massachusetts he attended the University of Chicago, studying social theory. Eventually he began pursuing acting, starting with various roles in film, such as in Girl Interrupted as Tony and Finding Home as Dave.

He then enjoyed guest appearances in many television shows such as Charmed, and Seven Days as well as NCIS, CSI:NY and Over Her Dead Body before landing the fan favourite role of Castiel in the long running television show Supernatural, which he is best known for. For his part in Supernatural he has been nominated for three People’s Choice awards including favourite Sci- fi /Fantasy Actor and won two out of these three awards.
