Montell Jordan
Montell Du’Sean Barnett, better known as Montell Jordan, was born on December 3, 1968 in Los Angeles, California. He is known as a singer, songwriter, and actor. He got his start while working for Williams Television Time. He performed at local showcases and was discovered by other musicians in the business. He moved to New York and signed with Def Jam Records.
He recorded seven albums thus far in his career: This Is How We Do It, More…, Let’s Ride, Get It On…Tonite, Montell Jordan, Life After Def, and Let It Rain. He has also had roles in three films: The Nutty Professor, The Fighting Temptations, and The List. Since leaving the music industry he has joined the Victory World Church and created the “Victory World Music”. They are located in Atlanta, Georgia and have put out a Christian music album.
