Mookie Betts
Mookie Betts was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 7, 1992. He was the fifth-round pick of the Boston Red Sox in the 2011 MLB Amateur Draft. His current position is the right fielder. He made his debut on June 29, 2014. He was part of the All-Star Games from 2016 to 2018. He also won the Wilson Defensive Player and the Wilson Overall Defensive Player award in 2016. In 2018, he was the AL MVP, he bagged the AL batting title, the Wilson Defensive Player award and was also the Major League Player of the Year. He earned the Gold Gloves award three times – from 2016 to 2018. Betts also took home two Silver Sluggers, and he was the Player of the Month for July 2016.
