Murad Osmann

Murad Osmann is a Russian professional photographer born in Dagestan ASSR, Russian SFSR, USSR in 1985. He is best known for his series Follow Me Too that went viral in 2012. At five years old his family moved to Moscow, Russia. He moved to England to obtain a degree in civil engineering at Imperial College London. While in college he started taking pictures and fell in love with capturing things other people may miss. In 2011, while traveling in Barcelona, Spain his girlfriend Natalia Zakharova was getting annoyed at Osmann constantly stopping to take photographs. She would try to pull him along and he would take the picture with her pulling him. This started the viral Follow Me series. The photographs were taken on an IPhone, but Osmann has since upgraded to using a DSLR camera. He has gained a large following of 4.1 million followers on Instagram since his series went viral.
