Orlando Bloom
Orlando Bloom was born on January 13, 1977 in Canterbury, England. He first had a small role in the 1997 film Wilde. In 1999, he got his break playing Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001 to 2003). This role earned him many awards as part of an ensemble cast and cemented his status as a heartthrob. He joined the franchise Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003 and appeared in Troy in 2004. In 2005, he starred in Elizabethtown and Kingdom of Heaven. In 2010, he appeared in the film The Three Musketeers.
Bloom reprised his role as Legolas in the last two films of the Hobbit trilogy. He made his Broadway debut as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet in 2013 and reprised his Pirates of the Caribbean role in 2017. Overall, he has one a few Teen Choice Awards as well as an MTV award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, among others.
