Para One
Music producer and film director Para One was born Jean Baptiste de Laubier on April 2, 1979 in Orleans, France. He got his start in production by producing French rap group, TTC, including their signature song, “Dans Le Club,” in 2004. In 2006, he remixed Daft Punk’s “The Prime Time of Your Life.” He also released his debut album, “Epiphanie,” that same year. He followed his debut album with “Naissance Des Pleuvres” in 2007. Also in 2007, Para One produced the soundtrack for “Water Lilies” and released “The Early Aughties” with fellow TTC producer Tacteel as the duo Fuck-A-Loop. He received a lot of commercial success in 2008 by remixing “Greatful Days” by Japanese star Ayumi Hamasaki. Para One directed his first short film, “It was on the Earth that I Knew Joy,” which was
