Peter Dinklage
Peter Dinklage was born on the June 11, 1969 in Morristown, New Jersey. He first caught the acting bug in fifth grade when he starred in the school production of The Velveteen Rabbit. His film debut was in Living in Oblivion (1995) where he played a dwarf frustrated by being typecast in all the roles he was offered. It was not until some years later that he first received acclaim in the comedy The Last Station (2003) and from there his career expanded greatly.
He had a role in Elf (2003) as well as Death at a Funeral (2007) and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008). Since 2011, he has become a global star because of his role as Tyrion Lannister in smash hit HBO series Game of Thrones based on George RR Martin’s book series. He was consequently nominated for several Emmy’s during this time and won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in 2012.
