Polica

Polica originates from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band was formed in 2011, as an offshoot of the band Gayngs. The core members compose of Channy Leaneagh and Ryan Olson. Leanagh’s versatile voice was combined with Olson’s smooth electronic soundscapes. After a month of collaboration, the two were ready to create an album, recruiting Ben Ivascu, Drew Christopherson, Chris Bierden, Bon Iver, and Mike Noyce.

The album “Give You the Ghost,” was released in February 14, 2012. It was critically acclaimed which earned them tours across the country. Their second album “Shulamith” was released in October 2013. An EP followed in 2014 entitled “Raw Exit.” Their latest album “United Crushers” arrived in 2016.
