Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal is a Spanish professional tennis player born in Manacor, Balearic Islands, Spain on June 3, 1986. He is currently ranked as number two in the world in men’s singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Nadal has won 11 French Opens, 11 Barcelona titles, 11 Monte-Carlo Masters, and hold the most clay court titles in the Open Era. He has won 17 Grand Slam singles titles and has 34 ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles and 20 ATP Tour 500 titles. Nadal has won 81 total career titles. In 2008 he won a gold medal at the Olympics in Beijing for singles won a gold medal in 2016 at Rio de Janeiro for doubles. He held the world number one ranking for 196 weeks. He was also a member of the winning Spain Davis Cup team in 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2011. In 2011 he was named Laureus World Sportsman of the Year.
