Rajkummar Rao

Regarded, as one of the most versatile actors of his generation Rajkummar Rao is an award winning Indian actor. Having studied acting at the Film and Television Institute of India, his breakthrough came in the drama film Kai Po Che! He went on to star in the biographical film Shahid, playing Shahid Azmi and won a Filmfare Award for his work.

His more recent films, such as the romantic film Queen, CityLights and Aligarh were all high grossing films. He won his second Filmfare Award for Trapped, a survival film where Rao plays a young man trapped in his apartment without food, water or electricity. Most recently he played the role of Newton in the film of the same name, a critical and box office success it cemented him as a natural talent in the industry.
